I have the Prodigy in my 2003, and yes it is a simple plug-in. I had to purchase the pigtail for the 2003 (prior years are different), and I think it was around eight dollars or so. The pigtail plugs into the Prodigy unit and then into the small black distribution box under the dash.

Thanks guys.... I have been used to surge brakes my whole life with boats.... SO I was a little nervous.. But it was the simplest mod I have ever done... Two plugs and I was up and running... And it works great....

Just to add... The prodigy is the only way to go... My friend has the rease version and it sucks... I can adjust the prodigy for additional breaking and taylor it for bad weather in seconds.... It amazing.... anyone who needs or is looking for a break controller needs to look no farther... Prodigy is the only one made in my mind....
