1990 7.3 Lariat
Drops into second and coasts till second engages then shifts back up to 3rd then 4th and goes for another 1/2 mile or so then does it again
Speedometer was working fine
So I:
Changed \Shift position sensor.
NOT
Changed throttle sensor.
NOT
I finally found it
Rotted off VSS on trans
lol touched it and it broke in half and guts came out
