Down pipe heat wrap ?

I've had ThermoTec Exhaust Wrap around my downpipe for three years without a problem.

Well I ordered the Thermo Tec heat sheild, came yesterday and was planning on putting it in today, but my back wouldn't allow it, Maybe tomorrow,
I'm wondering why some say they have to manipulate the fire wall some and others say it slips right in ? Is there that much differance in these trucks ?

Go to a Fireplace shop and ask for Ceramic Blanket. Tell them you want foil backed.
