A cdl book here in Arkansas cost $50 from State trooper and $75 for the licence if you and have to make a appointment for both written/road test.

Most of the cdl schools are hooked to trucking companies and require a minimum of a year with the company.

My printed book was 'free' at driver services when I paid for my learners.

I used it for reference during the 2-day airbrake course. Don't think I even cracked it open after that. Learned the rest with the instructor that rode in the truck with me.

yeah I.agree @79jasper Arkansas is a what can we.get out of people even the wages in this state doesn't compare to taxes on stuff.
