Just in case anyone needs one, I just picked one up from the junkyard that is available
Sometimes the air cleaner can catch the screen while you're taking it off. Sometimes turbos leave so little room to remove the hat, even with the turbo pedestal loose, that the hat will grab it when you try to remove that. Other times, someone may just be a bull in the china closet and do that type of thing all the time.Out of curiosity, how do these end up getting damaged? I’d assume that it could be a sign that the previous owners ran the motor without an intake often enough to suck debris to damage the screen…?
No comment about the bull in the china shop bit.
