The Diehard Platinum batteries I have installed last winter have proven themselves over the past four days. The power just recently came back since the hurricane in the last hour. Since that time every night I have been using a small inverter to power a 40 watt light bulb and a 5" TV as well as a digital converter to receive TV using an antenna about 3-4 hours continuous in a night without any drain and not enough power to start the next morning. A great batter not only for your truck but also for emergency power.
The only bad news is that had the hurricane been as strong as they predicted I probably would have been flooded out. The water came up within inches of it entering my apartment. The apartment in the back has a sunken living room that did flood out. I evacuated before the storm started and returned Sunday afternoon. The power was out until a little over an hour ago.
