How does one go about removing the A/C condensor on my 85 F-350??

Do I remove the radiator??

Or, can I go in from the grill side, and leave the radiator alone??

I hope not, but, I fear that we may have nicked the condensor when changing engines.

I am gonna check it out in a couple of days; and, I just want to be prepared to take it out should the need arise.

Thanks ahead for any advice.

Rider--it would be to your advantage to get an A/C Tech to check that out for you ,he may be able to save some of the Freon--its not cheap- he or she would have all the equipment to get you on the road to COOL again!!!my 2bits worth bccanuk:D

It has been changed over to the cheap stuff, something-34 or the other.

I can buy gallons of the stuff for what they will charge around here to look at it.

If I do in fact have a leak, then the gas is done gone, anyway.

If it needs evacuating, then I have kin-folks in the refrigeration business that can take care of that detail.

Either way, I will still need to know how to get out the condensor.

Rider--it should come out the front?-behind the grille--will need the tool to take the o-ring spring connectors apart--if you got a leak there should be an oil spot on your condenser were the freon leaked out (134-A) is what it should be---Bye for now hope it helps---:D:peelout bccanuk.
