Building a front bumper

I cut this off a Chevy and built some brackets for my truck. It looks awesome.

Got the top section welded on today, gonna take it to get it coated on monday.

Thanks, its far from professional looking but like I said its my first project like this. Had alot of fun building and learned a ton.

Plan is to build a rear one as well, but that may be a little while due to finances.

Here is my front winch bumper, minus the winch I don't have the $$ for yet.
When it gets warmer it will get coated ro painted properly.

the rollers on the front are 15" wide by 7" high. That is just the rollers themselves, not what holds them in. The deal on the passnger side of the bumper is the shaft for the winch. Since it is hydraulic, it take up some space in that bumper.

Looks to me like that shaft on the side is designed for attaching a windlass (like on sail boats) to be added for pulling utility cables like power or phone or cable tv through assemblies on poles or some other setup. It would be an auxiliary unit that attaches onto the shaft with a pin or something to hold it on as I have seen them a few times and thought cool. JM2CW

Got some D-rings mounted yesterday, lined it today, mounting it tomorrow. let me know what ya think.
