Did you buy the plastic piece from somewhere and cut it in yourself? Looks nice in that truck!

Got the trim piece from rock auto. Cut the holes myself. Hardest part was making the template

That looks really great. The only problem I've wrestled with doing this is keeping it from rusting where you cut the chrome. Did you paint behind it or anything?

I would like to do that mod. I think with the IC and AC condenser, some extra air would be a good thing. Of course, having the rest of the truck together first is a slightly higher priority.

Really looks good. Can you remove the center supports so a foot can stand in the holes. If so you will be able to easily work on top of the engine now. When I cut my bumper many years back I did not cover the holes with anything. Not even paint on the cut areas. No salt out here on the roads.

center supports are just plastic that is part of the mold. I guess you could trim them out.
