block heater cord??

got it fixed was 8 below 0 friday morning and she wouldn't start for nothing so i grabbed a spare plug end that i had in the tool box and put it on had to pop the hood to get the extension cord to it but i plugged it in for a half hour and was amazed that that was all it took and she fired rite up thanks guys
