Ac compressor clutch cuts off

Air gap or tired coil

I took one shim out of clutch. Still cycling. I can not get more 134 in the system.

I give up. Ordering a new compressor kit from RockAuto.

Might try finding the problem first, it may save you some cash.

Have you tried applying power/ground directly to the clutch to verify that the issue is not elsewhere in the system?

The Freon blowing out of the gauges is really dark almost black. The compressor installed by the PO has salvage yard marking. So, I think fresh new parts will last me a few years.
