IIRC, type F is to reduce slippage in the clutch packs, so it is a a friction enhancer, which is even worse, but you will find that basically all modern atf variations have friction modifiers that will cause harm to the IP over time. I believe that type F is also very,very high in sulfur, which is acid that will corrode metal.Just curious here, but what are the differences? Detergents, dino vs synth? Would Type-F ATF be closer to the older stuff?
