well, it took me all weekend to get the roof sealed.
i suck at body work.
no bondo on the roof, only duraglass and seamsealer on the drip rail

Looks pretty good. Better than if I'd done it. That's a lot of surface.

Wait till he gets it all nice and done.... and he wants to wax it...... the roof on my Excursion is about the size of a football field when you crawl up there with a can of wax and a rag. The only tools I use to wax are attached to the ends of my arms. I don't own a buffer.........

Looks good!!!! Is the OD Green a primer, or a sealer? I like how the roof came out. I've seen "professional" conversion company's work look much worse than that..... look forward to seeing it all done!!

the OD green is an acrylic enamel.
under that is house of colors KD2000 which is a primer sealer.
usually i spray with primer, let dry and wet sand it, but it will be lifted and a roof rack install, so FRACK it!!
i applied the enamel while the primer was still wet, mainly because i was supposed to get my windows installed today, but the wrong window came in..
now i gotta wait till wednesday.
gives me some time to do some interior work

Man that roof came out nice. Of course being the one who did the work, probably all you see is the imperfections.

all interior electrical is put back together! all 6 doors now have working door locks!
time to put my stereo back in! then insulate and carpet the badboy!
itll be the first time i have had carpet in it!
so stoked!
