Alright, I have a 1992 7.3 idi, it has a Banks sidewinder turbo on it. It will have blue'ish smoke at idle, but goes away once driving. For instance it will be smoking, and if you take off from a stop light the smoke will be gone about the time or right before you cross the intersection. Anyone have any ideas? I checked the compression before I installed the new injectors and IP. cylinder 7 did have around 300PSI, but I chalked it up to the possibility the engine hadnt been run in atleast a year. The smoke is very light and the truck runs very good. it fires right up and runs very smooth.
