One of the pre-cups came loose from the head and damaged the deck of the block, put about a quarter of an inch, half moon impression in it. Is it possible to repair the head and what kind of work can be done to the heads so none of the other pre-cups come loose? I realize it's probably a fairly rare occurence, my diesel mechanic had never seen it happen. The machine shop he deals with thinks in can be fixed and also say they can do something to insure the others don't come out but I just wanted to run it by you folks because most likely if it can happen someone on here has experienced it. Sorry, I don't have any pictures of the damage but will try to get some and post them just so everyone will know what I'm referring too if I didn't explain it too well. I fear that if it can't be repaired I would lose my core charge on the heads if I bought a remanned set.
