31 degrees and fired right up

    31 in southwest Missouri at 615 am.
    Heated the glow plugs for 3 seconds and popped right off. Probably couldn't have done it without the help of oilburners . And that is without the block heater. Now time to fix the heater core.

    If everything is working right, these old trucks should start down to well below zero, maybe -20F.\

    Yup I've had mine start well below zero a few times.

    What's really embarrassing is when none of the glow plugs are working and it won't start at 60 degrees LOL

    Always happens at work too...
    It's the reason I'm tempted to put ether injection in mine as a backup. LOL
