    @Danielle I don't have a definite travel schedule figured out yet, but I was planning on going up 81 to 84 so I'm sure we could meet somewhere along the route. I'll keep you posted as I come up with a better game plan this weekend.

    @laserjock we sure are going to miss you man, but I know sometimes difficult decisions need to be made. Sooooo since you aren't going does that mean I can borrow your truck if mine isn't back together?! Lol, jk!

    Maybe . On a positive note the engine is sitting back in the truck as of Tuesday. Still lots to do yet though.

    By the way the shirts are free.

    You bringing a shirt to the rally I am pressing the design on at the rally.

    I am using colors of vinyl I already have (see tee shirt thread)

    Just let me know in the shirt thread which color and what truck generation you want so I can get these done before rally. I have to cut the vinyl out before they get pressed on

    well already less then a week left! time sure flew by.

    i think im ready to go lol. i dont have a long drive just the heaviest camper lol.

    I think I have a bad lifter. Put in new injectors (really thought that was it) still have chuffy white exhaust and tap noise (not really a knock). So I am trying the ATF in the oil but so far it is not helping.

    This truck sits a LOT so I was hoping it was stuck and not damaged. I'm so bummed. I worked my ass off doing the clutch and the axle pivot and the injectors and other odds and ends for this. I knew about this a year ago but work has been so overwhelming that I haven't touched my own cars at all in months.

    Still coming but bringing another car :( Unless you think it's safe to try to bring it hee hee

    I am so upset!

    Man that sucks. Getting a tow that far wouldn't be fun. I took the gamble last year with my coolant issue and ticking sound. Luckily made it there and back with probably 2k miles that week.

    Maybe it will get better or we can just change a lifter at the rally lol.

    So I'm trying to plan my route up. I've been looking at taking I-81 to I-84 to I-91 and then catching a small road over to I-93 near Woodstock. Anyone have any experience with this route or other recommendations? @Danielle

    My first rally I made the 1600 ish mile round trip holding my breath as the pistons beat the intake valves back into the head the whole way. It was a good time especially when i had one hang at the foot of Cheat mountain going into Morgantown WV. That was a noise I won’t forget. LOL

    Spent the rest of the trip down and back trying to keep it under 2k rpm. Yeah. That works out great in an IDI.
