Truck won't pass ct emmisions. Was recommended that I flush converter a few times with water while warm before replacement?

Did they run it on a dyno with the sniffer? Forgive my ignorance of K-series trucks. Did it fail by a large margin on the test report? You are entitled to another test for free within 60 days anywhere. I would get a second opinion before anything unless you know it smokes or was ready to fail. When I got my test the tech said 'I can't remember how long it's been since I did a test this way.' It didn't really give me a good feeling.

No 9 stab test. I asked if I could do the dyno test but he says the state dictates what test to do and if it fails 9 stab test it has to pass same test
