I have thought about getting them, but haven't lifted a truck yet to put them on and both the trucks that i'm running are 3.55. I'm not a big fan of the big backspacing american eagle has.

That's what I have not sure of the backspacing but it looks close to stock. I have no issues with rubbing or anything else.

Well I have a '96---still OBS ;Sweet and have the factory
alloys with 305/70/16 10 ply Nitto Terra Grapplers.
If memory serves, they are 16x7.75 rims.

All I had to do was shim out the front bumper about 3/4"

If I'm way off camber...like crossing a ditch I get a slight rub on the front spring plastic doohickeys and that's about it :D

Running 33x12.50x16.5 All Terrain T/A HO's on 9.25X16.5 ARE's--no rubbing anywhere. Have run those tires and rims since the truck was new.

I've never heard of 275/85, are you sure there not 285/75. I think the 168s were the one i was thinking of, whats the backspacing or offset on them?

Rob

If those are the rims you're thinking of, try Discount Tire. I got their MB Motoring brand of that wheel(don't remember model number) in 16 X 8, made in the same factory as American Racing wheels, for $80 each. I'm very pleased with them. I put 285/75-16's BFG All Terrains on em and run them on my wife's truck at stock ride height (air bags in front to take out spring sag) with no problems.
