Rear main seal installation question
So were freshen up this '86 6.9L engine that's gonna be going into an 89 F150. Not rebuilding it, just taking all apart except for internals and cleaning it up, painting it and resealing it. Any other way to tell if you have broken piston rings other than a Comp. test?
Gonna be storing my van for winter in the next few weeks, so still trying to figure out it's oil burning problem witch isn't consistent. Van Road Trip MPG report with new IP!

"Fogging" an IDI?
So very soon my 2 IDI's will be stored for winter, the motorhome always is, but isn't setup yet, still needs to be moved, and my van will end up in storage once salt comes out. No Power to Glow plugs on left bank?
On my '85 E350 6.9 Just got done doing the head gaskets on it as you might have seen, everything is back on like it was, and now I have 0 power to all 4 glow plugs on the drivers side???
