Does anyone know what’s going on with Moose Diesel? I sent them a return with no response from Suzi. I called and emailed her 2-3 times each and she’s never responded. Any wisdom or insight? I’m at the point that I’m about to leave a complaint on google place a complaint with the BBB. Any help is appreciated.

I bought a pump from them last spring. They are just a mom and pop shop, sometimes getting their emails caught up is a pain. Call them if you're having any issues. I had an issue getting my core received, and it took a few days to get sorted out, but they did. Just have some patience. Their quality of work is very good.

Just had them rebuild a pump for me this summer/fall. I never hot confirmation that they received my core. I just waited and they sent me my new pump. I wouldn’t complain, they do good work. Good things come to those who wait.

I appreciate the reply’s. Just seems crazy. Multiple emails and multiple phone calls with no response at all. Makes me worried they are going to scam me…. It’s like they have my money and product return and no one will respond

Moose Diesel won’t scam you. No need to worry about that.

back in 2015-ish, i bought a Bull Moose and a set of Mister's
ran it for about a year and the engine suffered catastrophic damage.
(lost the bottom end) not due to the fueling.
sent the injectors in to get Conestoga to freshened up.
they came back dirty and 2 leakers. didnt even bother contacting them.
bought a set from Russ, and put together a new engine.
that was almost 10 years ago.
bull moose still running strong on russ's "STICKS"

@typ4 :kick::cheers:
(SEEWHATIDIDTHERERUSS?)

fastforward to 2019.
i built a lill IDI toy. twin turbo, and ordered a omega moose.
after 3 months, it finally showed up.
put it on and this thing would not put any real fuel through it.
advertised as IIRC a 160 cc pump.

well, my roached out turned up factory TIDI pump put out more fuel.
he told me i didnt have enough fuel delivery...
with a -8 AN fuel system and a 140 gph pump that i played with from 7 psi to 14.
and a modified feed, i tried to explain to him, and he wouldnt help me a bit.
i ended up selling that pump and got a RD4-150.

there is a rumor that the guy that built the pumps quit. but i dont know

ive seen alot of Russ's and Justins pumps in my IDI time.
mostly good and a few bad/faulty IP's
these are the only 2 people that ever made it right without questioning my ability.

In case you missed the memo...

Vendors come for the sales, leave when they dry up.
Now Mel did put in the effort on multiple sites.
His service was great, once you get to the point of wanting to retire, but sales keep coming up **** degrades.

My recent experience with Moose. Called and ordered a stock rebuilt pump for my stock 1990 F250 on March 2. Card was billed for pump and $400 core charge the next day. The pump shipped about a week later and arrived on the date that they told me to expect it. So Kudo's to them for that.

But getting my core charge refunded has been a disappointment. Thanks for members here, I discovered that I missed the statement on their web page that it could take up to a month to refund the core charge.

Shame on me for that. The new pump seems to be working well though.

So if you source a rebuilt pump from Moose, be prepared to wait an extended amount of time to get your core deposit back.
This is neither good or bad, but I'd like to point out that their website says that it takes approximately a month the get your core charge back. I don't think that you're too far out of line yet.

I just went back and studied their site and discovered the statement about taking a month. Somehow I missed that the first time around.

I'm going to edit my previous post (if the system will let me ) so that I'm not unfairly dinging them for the amount of time.
