So the ignition lock actuator broke in the column. Took my steering wheel apart only to find that the holes use to put the bolts in to pull the steering wheel off with have been drilled out. So now I'm thinking that I will just cut the steering wheel off and replace with another steering wheel. Does anyone know where to get another steering wheel for a 1985 truck? Any help is much appreciated.

+1 on tapping to a larger size thread. If that doesn't work, you could always have somebody weld some nuts in place of the drilled out holes, but hopefully tapping will work as taps seem to make a smaller mess inside a cab than a welder.

Good luck

What about drilling all the way through?

I can't look at mine right now, so I don't know if this is a stupid question or not.

If you can drill all the way through, drop the right sized bolt through your puller... Through the wheel... And put a nut on the other side.
