    Quick weird electricial quesiton.

    On my 97 ranger, when I put on the e brake, the ABS light comes on. If I start the truck with the e brake still on, it comes on. If I start it with the e brake off, it never comes on. Has anyone experienced this before?

    I've had a resistor go bad before believe it or not. One day the gp wires show 10V to the plug, the next day they show 12.4V. If that's the case, I would make sure that all the plugs come out easy and no tips have broken off. If they do, and this truck is what you want, then you can go...

    Pick up coolant test strips before you look at it. If it tests that its never been treated with sca's, look for a doner engine, or don't buy it.

    Looks stellar man!! But i've always wondered what the benefit of having that center piece is. If you pull from it, the stress is going to have to be perfectly perpendictular to the truck or that flat stock will tweak. So I'm not sure if that's what you even do with it but that's my anaylsis.
