I'm looking for a used obs intake for a 7.3 that is in decent shape. I've been throwing around the idea of making one fit my idi. Let me know whatcha got and how much you want!

in my honest opinion,
what the hell are you smoking?
if you have no fab skills, this is a PERFECT item to start on.
go to harbor freight, buy a 110 gasless welder.
go to summit.com or e-bay.
buy 3.5" tubing u-bend.
chop it up and make your own.

We don't really use cold air intakes, we use a 6637 style filter and a short piece of 4 inch pipe.
Too dark to get a pic.

I can fab something up, but was kinda looking for a kit to make my life a little easier and quicker. I'm personally not a huge fan of the 6637 mod. I want something that looks a little cleaner than that.

I know what you mean. do you just want the air box with the air duct that goes over the battery?

Mainly the air box or heat sheilding whatever you call it, but I think the intake tube can be made to work very easily too. I've been measuring my brothers on his powerstroke and it looks pretty much like a bolt in, but I don't want to buy a new one just incase I'm wrong and it doesn't fit.

I know I sold the box I had a while ago but I might have some of the other parts left.

Ok, well I'm going to keep trying to find a mostly complete one first. I'll keep you in mind if I need something else man.

I might have a stock OBS box.
Something else to remember is the stock boxes weren't that great. The early ones were known for dusting turbos.

Well I got an AFE locally. Thanks for everything. It actually fits in there really well and should make life easier and save me quite a bit of with plumbing it to my turbo.

Here is what I did. All I had to make was the short tube from the intake to the turbo. I used an obs psd battery tray as well to give me two of the mounts for the intake. @Thewespaul
