Sad But Funny...Kinda

With my recent radiator replacement, fuel filter head leaking and just yesterday replacing the center driveshaft carier bearing and a u-jount...my neighbor sees me struggling with poor health and shaky hands to perform these tasks. So just earlier he says to me..."Ray I think it's time for a new truck". My reply, when you cut me a check for $65,000 I'll go get one and I'll even let you pick out the color. Well, that shut him right up, of course I would never own another diesel so, that would save him about $8000.

I don't know man, I might be crazy but it's hard for me to think of any vehicle I'd rather own than a single owner bricknose diesel, I call you a lucky man. Somethings money just can't buy.

Guess whom has a leaking fuel heater...ya yers truly...gues whos swapping filter heads asap.
With a plugged one...ya yers truly...its a steady drip too not a weap...may swap a good head in n plug this POS...May add fuel.pressure port there

I hear ya about failing health and maintanence...sucks.

Well know that you shoukd have fuel heater leaks...drive shaft shoukd be good...and hope rad hangs in there...

So far so good on the radiator.
With the recent cold snap on a cold morning start before the thermostat opened I had a slight pressure weep at the upper rad hose into the water pump.
Fuel filter plug is dry but it still rubs me the wrong way I had to plug that hole...now I got a unsightly wire hanging, suppose I'll snip it off.

I tucked my wire back into the loom and got it out of the way. Didn't want to cut it, just in case I wanted keyed 12v power to anything under the hood. Lol

Well, you can always loosen the plug so it leaks a little, that'll change the direction of rubbing.

It is almost unbearable and unsightly to see a wire hanging down, especially driving around with the hood open.
