Any one else using an aftermarket solid state controller with good results? I bought a replacement BWD controller for my 89 and its having issues.
This controller keeps the relay engaged longer than the wts light is on. The truck is easier to start if I watch the battery gauge and not the wts light.
If I go by the wts light, the truck is hard to start on a cold day but if I wait for the battery gauge to come back up, which is several seconds after the wts light goes out, the truck starts just fine.
Just wanted some thoughts on this. Thanks.
