ATS is definitely not out of business...in fact I am sitting in here right now...in business.

The phones were down earlier this morning. That has been fixed though.

Man do we have some questions for you, or the bean counters.

Serves them right if they are out of business. Lots of complaints on this thread about their customer service. Odds are you wouldn't have been able to get what you needed from them.

When I needed a part for my propane injection (venturi), they got it to me right away, and there was no waiting on the phone. I have called them a few times and I have only had positive experiences.

Welcome to the forum ThatGuy. Hopefully you take no offence to some of the opinions posted here. Please remember they have reason to feel the way they do about ATS. I have never used nor bought anything from ATS so I will stay nuetral on the sidelines. I'm sure you see there is interest in what your company sells by the concerns about the lines being down as with the website down. We have a few members here that sell a great product and will stand behind what they sell no matter what. Customer service in number one in the business world. I run two differant injection pumps. A Moose pump and a Pensacola pump.I have no issues with either but some members here have nothing good to say about Pensacols. They ended up getting 3 or 4 pumps before they got a good pump. Thats should not have happened but it did.It left a bad feeling too.My Pensacola pump will be built to the Baby Moose level sometime this year. The person building them has a business change but they will continue. Just not a quick of a turn around.I can wait. ATS makes a product for our engines that Ford felt was workable.I wonder why Banks or Hypermax was not in the feild of choices... So hopefully you will be able to support these valuable engines that will be running long after most of the electronic engines are scrap metal.....:sly:angel:

You work at ATS?

Yes I do

Man do we have some questions for you, or the bean counters.

I am more than happy to answer any questions or keep track of the number of beans.

When I needed a part for my propane injection (venturi), they got it to me right away, and there was no waiting on the phone. I have called them a few times and I have only had positive experiences.

I KNEW we had a happy customer somewhere! :D

Thanks for the welcome. Generally, we can AND DO get people taken care of when they have a problem.

In response to your post, there is an unfortunate norm that seems to have set in, where people will buy a product and when they have an issue, get on a forum and start asking questions or just go straight to bashing the product. With others feeding in, it can quickly get out of hand...O! Very similar to this thread! Notice how it started out as a simple "Is ATS out of business" and then a few posts later "ATS is a bunch of *****". With just a tiny amount of social influence, people jump in on the beating.

On that note...I am here to help. I AM NOT GOING TO PUSH PRODUCTS. I will however do what I can to help the people that are having an issue now. Please feel free to email me at [email protected]. And if I dont get back to you in 37 seconds of you sending the email... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE wait at least another 20 seconds before coming on here and saying I didnt do what I said I would do.

Thanks guys! Good talk

LOL and

The first question that allot of guys around here are dying to know the answer to is: Are the IDI factory upgrade kits discontinued?

About a year ago there were lots of answer floating around, some said yes, others said no. Some people said that they actually talked to someone on the phone that said parts were being made. Since I live in Denver I decided to head down there and get the answer from the source. Your shop was in the middle of a remodel and it took a little time before I could talk with anyone since there was only one person working the counter. I found the upgrade kit in the catalog on the counter, but when I showed it to him I simply got "we don't support those trucks anymore". I was informed that you guys would work on them, but you were no longer making parts.

It seemed that as soon as I said I was looking for IDI parts the tone changed to, what can I say to get this guy to leave. This makes me wonder if I even got a credible answer. Also, if that is true, than why are the parts still on the web site?

Anyway, I am willing to put all that under the bridge. I understand that you cannot judge a company off of dealings with one of their associates. So I am willing to start fresh, and see if we can get to the bottom of ATS's IDI products!

Here is the kit to which I am referring. http://www.atsdiesel.com/ats2/productdetail/2029033158/Ford_Turbo_Upgrades

Any help on this is MUCH appreciated!!

PZ

i have seen that on a few forums, and locally as well.
my favorite thing to hear is when someone tells me they installed 3 xx from xx parts store and the forth one fixed it, then my question is to them, what did you do different when you installed the forth one?
oh wait i think i just jumped on another bandwagon.

Ya, sorry about that. Thanks for the second chance.

Unfortunately that is being discontinued. I will be taking that part off the website today as well. And the new catalog does not have any IDI stuff in it.

We would absolutely work on them though

This isn't going to work, everyone on this forum are rabid Justin Beiber fans. But glad to know you guys are indeed up and running and welcome aboard from a fellow newbie.
