Has anyone here ever spent any time at a large CAT dealer or semi truck dealer that will let them do a little digging and see if they can find a suitable replacement for the ATS wastegated grommet ? I've always had amazing results finding oddball parts to press into service that way.. If someone is anywhere near a surplus aircraft parts house, I can guarantee that they will find some ( when we were building race cars in California in the 70s , first place we'd go when we got a wild hair for making something custom before fabricating, was the surplus aircraft parts store, if you can imagine it, chances are that at one time or another , an aircraft engineer has also come up with the same idea, and put it to use
the only tricky part was finding it in amongst hundreds of 55 gal drums full of assorted loose parts
