If you cant pull that now then once you build a crazy motor with alot of power you wont be able to pull it then you will just spin out, these trucks have a low enough range in 4low to pull anything, and if you can deal with that much load in 4lo then somethings wrong

ill be fine i just run into some hills that i dont like
i have psd power with my stroker (outran a 6.0 light to light the other day)
but the stroker has low torque and high end hp so the spread sucks
im either doing 15 mph and going steady or 60 and slowing down when goign up hills
i have a trype 4 cam already but i dont wanna waste it on the stroker motor if the results are not waht i want

the calcium i was thinking head gasket slowly leaking into cylinders
it also smoked white all the time etc pointing at headgasket

Wait, u have a stroker crank in ur IDI...did u install it or was it there from a PO? Is it one of those Barrett stroker cranks?

i think it was stock but he was on it you could hear the thing spooling pretty hard
yes its stroked to 7.6 at 150k the stock motor blew (no oil) the towing company that used it put in a stroker motor reman i did some reascherce on it and talked to some ppl who owned it and thats wehn the stroker motor was added idr who made it but it was bought as an assembly whole motor
the p/o said it supposedly had one but i ran into the second owner a while ago and they confirmed and showed me a reciept and some other info on it

what do they use for rods and pistons with this stroker crank?

no idea off hand i was told pistons the pin is moved up a bit and rings are stock the rods youre guess is good as mine
the lack of info out there is amazing so thats why i want to build this other motor to replace it as the stroker has oil leaks and some funky noises that i suspect are bearings screaming help me
my one buddy wants it when done so ill sell it round 6-800 to him and let him deal with that stupid crap
also i dont know how the stroker kit will react to aftermarket mods like type4s cam or a stock turbo setup so i could waste my money on mods

You didnt whoop a 6.0 psd no way, unless you got some god given holy grail IDI then it didnt happen, i take that back you probly did win, because as you were racing the 6.0 blew up

But seriously i can see an idi whooping 1stgen psd's becasue i have ate many for breakfast, but a 6.0 is not going to happen
