Always pleasant to hear about long uneventfull trips. Doesn't surprise me though. We tend to think of the newer vehicles like Superduties and Dodge RAMs and Chevy's and what not as being more reliable, probably because they are newer. But the realitiy is, these trucks were MORE reliable than these new trucks when THEY were new. There was less to go wrong, and the designs were not rushed into production. So if you re-new your truck, with factory parts wherever possible, and do proper maintanance, you have no reason to expect that they will not criss-cross the country as many times as you want them to.
