Just because you turned to the Dark Side, you can still pop back in here once in a while. You may even find another IDI truck to use as a driver/highway cruiser someday. Despite the joking, I think that the ZF6 is a good option for you and can completely understand the purchase. One more thing. Too bad you sold the 87 now.;Poke

I appreciate that! I'll definitely visit when I get the chance, and I'm sure I'll be spending some time in power stroke section of the forum anyway. It took a lot of thinking, but I'm very happy with this truck, and I know it will be better suited for my use......hey, at least I didn't buy a dodge, lol.
I do kind of wish I still had the 87 for a run around truck, but I'm sure there will be another like it down the road for that use.
Then again, with fuel at 5.55 a gallon, it's probably best to have one truck until the prices drop.

Hehe, I'd recommend a Jetta TDI with a Smythe conversion. I'm drooling over that:Thumbs Up

Funny you say that, I come from a history of vw Tdi's and I thought about making an ute too!
They're quite nice and would be a great small truck vs getting a Ranger or TDI swapping a small truck. Pricy though at $4k, not terrible though considering it would be a small truck with 40+ mpg. I don't need one currently, but one day....

Yes, at least you didn't buy a dodge. The only problem with the Cummins engine is the Dodge that's wrapped around it.

Yesterday I picked up some free shelving and some copper cable I was given, then I hauled the tractor over to a friend's house to help him dispose of an old sidewalk he had replaced. The biggest piece was pretty much the maximum load the tractor would lift, barely made it high enough to load it!

After that, Diego got his spring bath. I need to put some work in at some point. The paint is rough enough that it holds grime and it's definitely overdue for a wax. I'll have to do some body work before too long as the rockers are starting to show their age...

@Nero I remember when I put my mirror in 4or 5 years ago. Man I absolutely love it still.

Me I put in a isspro ev2 gauge to replace the isspro ev1 gauge. Worst part is after I got it out I realized I had a bad connection in my own wiring. Thought I had it sorted then test drove and it failed again. So I cut the connector out and but connected it.
The pins lost tension on the cheap Delphi knockoff connector.... grr

Anyway oil temp should be back working, and am trying to get my aftermarket wiring bulkhead where it goes through the firewall to seal and not leak rain water.
Supposed to rain all next week so we shall see.
