i bought what I needed for less than $5. Here’s hoping the same for you.
There must have been a major screw up for it to dit in the UPS hub for a week. UPS seems to be the best way to ship these days.
I wouldn’t feel bad about Walmart batteries. They’re all pretty much a crapshoot anymore regardless of who’s name is on it. I sure wouldn’t rush to replace them before they fail.Well today i had to replaced both batteries on my '89...... LuluBelle just keeps me on my toes....was going to install new return oines and and maybe look at LMC for other parts but noooooooo! I should have bought a better quality battery but I have to take my son to his appointments in DFW and ended up buying @ Walmarts battery's.....cheap, but theyll do the job until more $$$$ is available.
I have always had good luck with Walmart’s batteries. I remember reading somewhere there’s only a few producers anyway so it’s probably the same as more expensive ones. I used to work there and someone came in with a big excursion saying we sold him a bad battery. The policy was to replace it no questions asked so that’s what we did. He was back two more times within a week saying we had sold him another bad battery. We tried to tell him there was more likely some other charging issue with his truck but he wasn’t having it. At the time I had a Taurus and my boss let me take his “bad” battery. Definitely never had starting issues in the Taurus with 1100A on tap! That battery lived in my Taurus until I sold it some 10 years later, and that’s in northern ND where winters are fairly ******* batteries.I wouldn’t feel bad about Walmart batteries. They’re all pretty much a crapshoot anymore regardless of who’s name is on it. I sure wouldn’t rush to replace them before they fail.
Was your smile as big as the one on the fuel tank is?the old bull nose made me smile
Haha nope thats quite a smile to compete withWas your smile as big as the one on the fuel tank is?
That seam looks like it may give you problems down the road! Thats where my truck leakedMeasured the u-joint and ordered a new yoke and rear joint today. Also ordered a crush sleeve eliminator from Russ. Then I pulled the cowl off to check out the wiper situation.

The bushing literally popped out of the linkage rod.....

I put it back in and twisted it 90° to get it to stay put for now. Then I popped the ball out of the bushing and put some silicone grease in it before putting it all back together.
Then I tried replacing the dead washer pump with an inline pump from Amazon. No luck.

It will move fluid, but no pressure. A little bit of fluid just dribbles out of the nozzle. That's enough fun with this truck frustrating me today.
