Literally, just 1 week short of 2 years to the day from totaling my favorite daily driver '90 F250 7.3 by hitting a cow on my way to work, I hit a cow in my '93, on my way to work. Before everyone piles on, I don't live in free range territory.
I picked up a fairly priced '94 Super Duty PSD to pick apart for the front clip parts needed to fix the '93. I couldn't find a '92 or '93 7.3 within a 500 mile radius for parts. My '93 has an E4OD and the '94 has a 5 speed.
Will the instrument cluster from the '94 work in m '93, or are they incompatible because of a PCM transmission conflict because of the E4OD vs ZF? Is it possible to mate a '92/'93 7.3 E4OD to a '94 7.3 PSD? Conversely, will the '94 ZF work behind any of my IDI engines? I'm trying to figure out if any of the chassis stuff is interchangeable before I decide what to do with what's left of the '94.
