Thankfully we are moving to the east coast soon @Selahdoor so a smidge less rain. I think I could live with it. If it does become a bother, I will get some more Noico stick on stuff for the roof.

I was thinking about the wind noise while going down the road when I read Selahdoor's post.
Well in that case I will take it on the highway for a test drive and see how we go.

And overall metallic creaking and clanking sounds that you wouldn't have heard with the headliner in.
I'd hate to make a trip across the country with that noise.
Whatever additional noise you hear on your test drive, may not be bothersome.... Until you have to put up with it all day for several days...
Me. I'd be able to mostly tune it out. But it would wear on me without my conscious knowledge. Adds to being worn out at the end of the day or trip.

The headliner was sagging from the weight of the insulation sitting on it and was resting on my head while driving.
They make wires that you can stick between joists, to hold insulation overhead in construction.
Get the same kind of wire and make it long enough to span from front trim to back, and/or side to side. And once installed, has a slight bow, upwards.
That, or do like I usually do... Staple gun!!!
Don't staple all the way through the roof, of course.

One of the things Selahdoor said I agree, it would probably take time to notice and depending on you, you might not. The truck I am tearing down never had a headliner since I owned it, but it also never got driven more than 45 minutes and not consecutive days.
But if you dont know what you're missing it doesnt matter ha

The old headliner needs some serious work. The glue is dried and comes off as dust in the wind into your eyes, the fabric has shrunk so is smaller than the cardboard, and the corners are broken
Quick cheap easy fix. Take it off, when you are ready to do the job for real...
Spray adhesive on the roof. Stick an old egg crate foam camping mattress to it. Trim to fit. Spray paint it if you want...

Although I did know someone decades ago, whose headliner was drooping onto their head. Who did just that. Ripped it all out, and glued egg crate foam to the roof. Looked... Unusual. But man, that thing was quiet!

Since I am having some trouble with the pictures posting to the site here, I will explain best I can. Not sure what comes stock for oil sending but there is currently a square TEE like this: https://www.grainger.com/product/6A...kwcid=AL!2966!3!281698275777!!!g!471093561309!
Which is installed on the back where the stock sending unit is. First question, is there an easy way to remove the stock sender without damaging to maintain the stock gauge? I was going to use some pump pliers to remove it as the whole thing looks to be leaking and I want to re-tape/dope everything before installing my new gauge.
Side note: the GlowShift 4 gauge A pillar pod is too long to fit clean with the dash so I am cutting one pod off and mounting my oil pressure into the dash.
