@IDIBRONCO someone on here used a seal for the bottom of a garage door to replace the cowl seal. I Imagine you could get three of them out of one piece.

That's why turbos were invented.

I wish I would have had the time to finish the turbo install, but I had to have four wheels. The motorcycle would have been miserable in the rain and cold.

I have to admit that I'm definitely getting older. The open headers aren't nearly as cool as I thought they were 20 years ago! On the plus side, most of the deer didn't take long to get across the highway!

i will admit this a little also i have a Honda 1100cc cruiser with a loud set of Cobra pipes. i find lately i have been enjoying the quiet buzz of my 250cc with stock exhaust. the pipes are fun for a while but can get old especially since my main highway i drive has a center concrete barrier that bounces all the sound back at you.

If done right they do. My old 1993 ZX11 still has quite a bit of horsepower and the exhaust isn't very loud.

Just because someone hacks off their muffler on their N/A IDI, doesn't mean that it has more power than a turbo'd one with a good Diamond Eye exhaust.

I understand that all too well. That's why I came up with the saying that I posted earlier. I asked a Harley rider why they liked loud pipes several years back. He said if you can't be fast, you might as well be loud.

5th Wheel hitch finally installed! It was painful drilling all those holes. Eight 1/2" holes through the frame, twelve 1/2" holes through the bed floor. At one point I had a Milwaukee in each hand, one was an 18volt, the other was a 12oz! Finished job fits nicely under the tonneau cover.
