Nope it was puled out of the Kudzu field and scrapped by the person who bought it from the Kudzu field owner. So E-1 has officially gone to the scrapyard in the sky......

well no one can say that the enterprise did not have an eventful life!

That it did, quite an eventful life. I think anything Travis drives will have an eventful life. I have one picture of the Enterprise, of the dash. I've labeled it as the Enterprise, but offer no guarantees.

the enterprise was scrapped? why?

Well, when he blew it up the last time, what was described in the other thread, water/**** incident, which was the 3rd engine that was in the truck. The engine that was in it hen he bought it cavitated not long after he bought it. He fixed that one (I think it was sleeved, this was a long time ago, almost 20 years now). The second engine dropped a valve and grenaded the block. The third engine was the one that was pushed the most, that concluded in drinking several gallons of washer fluid at a rally. He was tired of the time an money, and was mad at the truck, so he decided to sell it and bought the Nanny Goat (His 94 12 valve). A former member here bought it and OldMisterBill trailered it from Indiana, in the dead of winter, covered in salt, to it's new home in Alabama. It was off-loaded from the trailer, and had some work done to it over the years, but it didn't get driven much, and sat without a bath for quite a few years. Anyone from the North knows what just a winter with salt exposure, let alone years. By the time the member who bought it decided to sell it, it was rotten beyond repair. The fella who bought it posted a few time on here and said that a big part of the lower sheet metal on the cab and the doors was swiss cheese or just rotten away. It would have taken most of a doner truck to fix it. Plus, the engine and I believe pump that on it when he blew it up were gone. When it was sold to the fella that scrapped it, it had a take out 6.9 in it. The custom interior stuff he did was still there, but the power plant and the mods that went with it were long gone.

One interesting aside of this story, the E4OD that was in the truck when he bought it, was that one it had when it was scrapped. I think the PO had rebuilt/replaced it before it was traded in. He put a cooler on it, and kept the fluid changed. He never had the transmission out of the truck.....

it wan't literally a firehose nozzle, but when you go through 15 gallons of windshield washer fluid in an hour, that nozzle better be pretty good sized.

i would think it would have to be a fair bit larger than 15gph nozzle just in the fact that im sure he wasnt spraying for a hour straight. I am sure there was some shifting in there, or even some downtime to refill the water **** tank.
