Well I just scored a Factory turbo IDI less pump for 400 clams,
It was a core return at the yard I deal with. They already sold the IP There seems to be no water in the oil, turns over by wrench ,they told me the guy changed it because it smoked a lot. I am thinking that the piece of oily heater hose going to the airbox from the cdr hole might have something to do with that
. The turbo was just dripping oil on the inlet side. My educated guess is that it will be a good builder
I am hoping for the best but just good heads and turbo and turbo rods and the rest of the bolt ons are worth what I paid. Doesnt seem to have been overheated as there is greasy goo on the exh manifolds. So if anyone runs across a turbo IP core???
