Here's one for everybody. This actually a dream I had last night. I had a late 70's model Trans Am that I had put an IDI into. It was Black and gold like the Smokey and the Bandit car. It had manual control glow plugs. When I was going to give a guy a ride in it, it fired right off so I know the fuel system was in good tune. It sounded real good and strong. I can't say how well it ran because I was pulling around a pickup bed trailer full of firewood (it actually was my firewood trailer!). I'm not sure if it was a 6.9 or 7.3. It did have a c6because it still used the original shifter. WHERE DO THESE DREAMS COME FROM?
Two problems: 1 my stupidity on vehicles ends with my diesel powered Bronco.
2 I really hate those style of cars! I hated them back when I was in high school and there was 5 in a school of about 150 kids. This was in the late 80's. Since I'm such a Ford nut, I'd use a 71-73 Mustang since they're the biggest ones.
Just thought others would get a kick out of this crazy dream.

Those are clean Broncos.

Sometimes I dream that I'm driving my Bullnose truck through the forest and everything is on fire. Not often, but I've had the same dream multiple times.-Flame Thr

Id be comforted in that situation being in an old ford diesel instead of a gasser.......

I used to have dreams where people had engines and transmission parts integrated into them...... like my brain was integrating all of my mechanical experiences with my people experiences that day...... thats been years...... and a lot of my dreams these days always take place in a "school setting".... like im in high-school(thats almost 30yrs ago) but im an adult in the dream.....with kids and stuff.... i don't know, dreams are fascinating..... too many people overthink them for sure......

No, I had always thought a flame thrower exhaust kit would be cool on my 71 Oldsmobile, but I've never installed one. For my Bullnose truck I'm not into the "rolling coal" thing. I don't want my EGTs to get too high. Plus, in the dream it's the forest that's on fire, not me or my Bullnose truck. :)
