Wonder what these parts are, something to do with the air conditioning? I'm pointing to the "lines" in the one photo. Just wondering if I can remove this stuff I no longer have air conditioning.

The round gold thing is the inside/outside door actuator. Your heat and A/C normally pull outside air from the grill below the wiper blades. But when you select "max" on the selector, that sends vacuum to that gold actuator and it switches a door inside to pull interior air into the system instead of outside air.

Can't tell on the vacuum lines. Have you traced them out?

If it is like my 93, they go to other parts of the heater/AC system.

FYI, at least on the OBS body trucks, cruise control is electric, not vacum

This is what my cruise control servo looks like (not my truck, but similar).

Crazy fact, the horn circuit runs through it, if you disconnect the harness the horn quits working..

Good thing it doesn`t go through the turn signal circuit.

I some how got the trailer wiring for the brakes years ago get connected to the turn signal wire, flip the turn sig and the brakes were on-off-on-off etc....

When my hazards are on same thing, my brake controller senses I hit the brakes for every flash of the hazards. There is a good article I believe in the tech articles or trailering section about adding a diode to prevent that. Have yet to do it but nice to know there is a fix for it if you pull slow and want to use the hazards.
