Deep Pockets. :D

- Forged Rods (or billet, preferably aluminum for weight)
- HJ 530's :D
- Complete Custom dual feed fuel system (ditch the stock pos fuel bowl)
- Chip to run the show
- Head Studs
- Something to hold the compression in (Coppers, or C-rings, take your pick)
- Upgraded Cam
- Upgraded Valve Springs
- Coated exhaust pipes/manifolds
- Either twin turbos or nitrous and propane, your pick. Or both. -Flame Thr
- Trac bars
- Modded IDM
- ICP Mod
- Upgraded HPOP (not necessary, but it would put you in the DEEP 12s)
- Transmission and transfer case to get the power to the ground

FWIW, my truck ran low 13s and hit a 12.98 once in its current setup when I sold it (water turned on). NOTE - It's a MANUAL  . Guy is making a trip back from CA to Muncie this year to run. It'll be interesting. :D

If I can do that with a manual, it shouldn't be that hard to do with a decent auto.

And it weighs less than 5500lbs.

I'm not knocking it, but obviously the weight plays a major factor for the truck's ET/speed. :kick:

Absolutely! :cool It's close enough for me (less than 2 hrs) that I'll probably drive down there every day.

I'm not sure if my new truck will be ready or not (we're currently too busy for personal projects), but my old one will be there and so far we have 7 engines (PSDs) going in, so I'll definately have to be there. ;burnout

Could someone explain "head studs" and "C rings"?

Thanks.
