What year did the AC switch to R134a?

Believe it or not but autozone uses spi and their stuff seems pretty good.

If a high pressure charge port is leaking, do you have to replace the whole line?
Or is there a metal cap that can be had?

Not sure what is leaking on the high charge port but I known the ports have a schrader valve in them and it can easily be replaced. It looks just like the inner tube core on any tire found on the roads.. but it is a little different on materials. It can be used in a pinch. Any ac shop can sell you some schrader core valves. Might need a deeper tool to remove and install some of them too but ask before you buy special tools if dealing in a dedicated ac shop.

That's the most common style.looke like a ball in the center. Others are just a Schrader valve. Regardless you do not have to replace the whole line

Unscrew the plastic cover and you can get at the schrader type valve inside. Pretty good leak you have going there, you might have lost a few ounces of oil as well.

Your high side port does not use a replaceable Schrader valve.you replace the whole valve.its the one I posted a link to.it just unscrews
