Let me start by saying I am in no way trying to compete with the rally in the eastern part of the U.S.

With that being said Here we go! Jenn, Kaylee and I (BJ) would like to Announce that The WESTERN OILBURNERS RALLY Is going to happen! The location will be at the Colorado Springs KOA. Just south of Colorado Springs Colorado.

This location is close to so much, I am sure we can make this a Rally to remember.

Dates for the event will be July 20-26 2019

https://coloradospringskoa.com/ is the web sight to check out this facility. it has a swimming pool, hot tub and a water park for the kids.

Phone number to call is 719-382-7575

When calling please ask to speak to Patricia, She is our rally coordinator at this KOA! She is usually there Wednesday thru Sunday. If she is not there when you call leave a message for her and she will call you back. BE sure to tell her your with the Oilburners group! You MUST ONLY make your reservation with her or your reservation may not be valid.

Dead line for reservations is April 1st

Please Note Colorado is a No rolling coal State!!! They are not real strict on this except in DENVER area but just know it is a State law.

This is great, i look forward to getting out to that side of the country some day. I think i would have to fly myself. If i am hauling that far i probably would put down roots and not come back. LOL

Sweet BJ. You've hosted over on the eastern side of the Mississippi before and I know you'll have a fantastic event. I lost your number (along with a lot of other stuff) in the spring. My phone accidently was "restored" to 2015.

Anyway, I would love to make it, but with Jared and I potentially hosting the eastern rally, I wouldn't have the time to make it, plus..... that would be 4 days of travel with the kids going nuts in the rear seat of the truck. LOL

I think I'd have to pull the same fly in and out plan if we get over to CO for the rally. I hate that we could not get together in March this year when I was at Copper Mountain. I'm heading back out there in March again (3/6-3/13). We will be staying in Frisco and skiing at Copper. Hope we can at least have some food/drink and catch up this time.

We like the gatlinburg area and would love to make that one also. We were there a couple years ago and drove! It’s a LONG 2 days or 2.5 normal days one way. I’m sure we can have 2 Rally’s and both group have a great time.

About two days for me, I was born in Fort Collins so I know the area well. Beautiful place for a rally and lots of attractions. Looking forward to this one!

Putting this in my Rolodex...Count me and my road-dog Rowdy in!!! We should be out that way, or at least close, by then.

Now that the holidays are over and all your money is spent. Now it’s time for all you westerners to start saving for the western rally.

Hope to start seeing people get on board for this rally. Towcat was looking to make this rally but since that is not going to be the case let’s make this one in remembrance of him

Would like to hear your input on what you guys want to see or do.

So what kind of rally is it? Just a get together or are there events? Also, is the is apart of this, like added the logo to your flyers? :)
