Why is this exactly?

remember the big oil filters,,on the side of semis??? those luber finers, had filters in them, that were made of ground rags--and wood particles!!!!! this was not full flow--but in addition to the regular filter--and reports from guys that used to run them??? some never changed the oil--just this filter, when necessary!!!

ya the oil will still break down with temp and time tho
so although I'm sure it was a great filter your better off changing that oil out from time to time

cheers

the only bad part of this--some filters have a relief valve inside them--so if you push it tooo fast-----------

Yeah, this is what I was talking about. I have a SBF pump that I use for my needs. I usually do them 5-10 gal at a time. I have a filter (larger than a PSD) for it and pump it into the tank. Takes easily 45 sec to a minute to do a gallon.

well that was an eye opener
I just went for a spin on about a 50/50 mix of WMO and diesel
runs noticeably smoother quieter and stronger

so naturally I went by the Harley dealership and scored about 30 gallons of the stuff plus another 20 of WVO from Taco Hell

I'm loving free fuel
