Which direction is the wastegate rod adjusted, shorter or longer, to get more boost. I know, seems like an easy thing to find but I'm just not finding it.
Just upgraded from the Ford stock turbo to an ATS turbo, yes, very little difference except the 3" output housing and a little different oil hook-up.

You need to shorten the rod so there is less travel when the wastegate opens, and thus, more boost.

Not done this on an ATS, but on a Banks, you loosen the lock nut and turn the threaded end of the rod in (shorten), then tighten up the lock nut.

It's like tightening a nut on a bolt, pretty simple. Again shorten means less travel of the arm/wastegate = more boost. Lengthen gives more travel of the arm/wastegate = less boost.
