Van Road Trip MPG report with new IP!

I put new injectors in 7 months ago when I got the van on the road, that's what killed my old pump.

How would new injectors kill a pump?

From what i've heard, the higher pop off pressure of the new injectors, will kill an old tired pump. It got to the pump where I had to pour cool water on it when it was hot after sitting for over 15 min to get it to fire up again.
