The things people do to complicate life. The cooling system works just fine stock form. Heck I can run mine 1/2 empty in 120deg head with thread on towing 10k up hill and it only hits 220. Full of coolant in the winter I have a hard time hitting 160.
Using a vac filler isnt complicating anything, it greatly simplifies filling any cooling system.

have you actually worked on cars for a living, or do you just claim that as part of your know everything act? There is ALWAYS something to learn.......

First of all... If your system is only half full, then your coolant sensor won't read correctly. Secondly, these engines love to produce heat. If you have no water to transfer heat then you're overheating your engine. You keep doing what you want, but I'll always keep making sure I have good oil and coolant in my rig.

Makes me want to ask, is a half filled oil system good enough? Do you only run one battery¿ Do you have the mystical three wheeled idi?? Who needs four wheels when you have 3.....

All good points, but you do realize that you're arguing with another bot don't you? IDIBOBS's twin, brother, differently named account. You're probably not going to get much of a response.

Hi in the Cascades, Nearly- Redmond,Oregon
Couple other Forums I won't name right now, yrs ago, but I'd look at or ask a question and read 50-60 bully style answers before I finally found the answer I needed.
All kind of of asinine stuff like "Well stupid, EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT!!"...."Where you been, anybody with ANY KIND OF SENSE KNOWS THAT!!!"
I figure IDIBOBS's got many, many kinfolks slipping round. This last one.....looking at his registered name.......he's moved over into India, out into the desert!!!?????
