I found a NOS thermostat on Ebay so I ordered it from them. The add clearly shows the correct thermostat and the correct part #.

The thermostat I recieved is a Cheap aftermarket Motorad that I could buy @ A-Zone but it's not the correct design. It should work in my Jeep though.

Anyway we shall see how this pans out.

I saw that same thermostat listing and if I didn't have a couple of spares I would have bought that one. Glad I didn't cause I would be a sending it back... Not as advertised... I don't care much for the "bait and switch" type of selling method. Usually uhaul is really good on what they list and sell so you probably will have no issues getting your money back or the correct item... Could very well be some order puller that has no idea what part goes to what engine.

i ordered 3 from them a while ago (why not) and mine were correct.

you will get the correct one if they have it and not have to return the wrong one, it is the parts pullers/stockers, probably in the wrong bin.

I got a msg from them. Said they will ship out the Correct IH stat. They did acknowledge the problem quickly so things are looking ok so far.

I bought a "new" vac pump from them. The first one they sent was a reman. After I contacted them they sent me a new one, and I got to keep the reman. Kinda worked out ok.

Uhaul makes mistakes I'm thinking mostly by the parts pickers. they probably pick whats in the parts bin and really don't know what they are by appearance. This post shows they are a standup company here on ebay. I don't recall someone getting bent over a barrel by them yet. Just s simple message to them about what you didn't get and they make it right. Thats how a business should operate.
