turboing a 1993 7.3 idi

My dad has a 1999 f 350 with a turbo sitting in the barn. Is it possible to run it on my idi without too much hassle?? any input is apreciated. thanks.

It will not just bolt up. If... You can tig weld and have a shop where you can fabricate all the pipes and mounting parts then its still a tuff job. Check out Ebay under 7.3 diesel parts. There is several complete and near complete turbo setups for sale. Our motors were not designed to run a psd turbo. They boost much higher than what our motors can safely handle.

i am doing this very thing to my truck, is it alot of work, yes! is it worth? we will find out soon enough
