I’m sorry if this has been gone over I could not find anything but here it goes. I have an 89 Ford f250 with the 7.3 IDI Manuel transmision with an aftermarket hypermax turbo, when I’m driving the truck and reach 2000 rpms according to the RPM gauge it feels like my truck wants to take off as if my engine is revving out of control. I don’t even know where to start with this I didn’t know if this could be a timing issue or something of that sort any help would be greatly appreciated

Or your shower heads fell off and sloshing in the fuel tank introduces air at 1/4 or less. Had this happen to me.

Does this happen when the fuel tanks are near 1/4 level? If so never allow them to get that low. This 1/4 tank of fuel is known as th broken shower head syndrome. Plenty of info on how to fix it. But cheap fix is never allow tanks to reach 1/4 level.
