the old ford is now building good boost. i hit about 10 psi today with the tire (open rear) roasting. i have to admit it will climb a hill and has some power. after i regear soon it will be even better. the painless harness is in. i had a few small issues, but everything is cleared up and working great.
I also installed a different ip. it was a low mileage stock ip from a yard. with the ip turned up 6 flats and base settings, the truck makes 10lbs at full throttle now. i could get more but the wastegate is set for 10 lbs. i do have one question. i picked up a bleed off style boost controler, how do i hook this up? i found stuff online, but dont trust it without knowing how it works.
finally i got a big score at the yard. i found an old amc york ac compressor. so the electric pump will be removed and i will have a belt powered oba now!
